notice, and to execute such works and do suck things as may
be necessary for that purpose, provided that nothing in this act
shall apply to the water in which mosquitoes or mosquito larvae
breed in Prince George's, Baltimore, Dorchester, Charles, Cal-
vert, Caroline, Harford Counties and Anne Arundel County ex-
cept the first precinct of the Third Election District.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1st, 1924.

CHAPTER 545.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 5 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Calvert County", to be
under sub-title "Crabs'', said new section to be known as
section 58A and to follow immediately after Section 58
of said Article, the said new section prohibiting persons
other than citizens of Calvert County from catching and
taking crabs in any of the waters wholly within the limits
of said County, and imposing penalties for the violation
thereof.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added, to Article
5 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Calvert
County", to be under sub-title ''Crabs", said new section to
be known as Section 58A, of said Article, and to read as follows:

58A. It shall not be lawful for any person or persons, ex-
cept a bona fide citizen or citizens of Calvert County to take
or catch crabs in any of the waters wholly within the limits
of Calvert County. Any person violating the provisions of
this section, upon conviction thereof before a justice of the
peace, shall be subject to a fine of not less than twenty-five
dollars ($25. 00) nor more than fifty dollars ($50. 00) for each
offense. In default of the said fine, any person convicted of
violating this section may be imprisoned in the county jail
not more than thirty days.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1924.
