land owner to comply with the provisions of this Act, the
County Commissioners of Washington County shall, at the ex-
pense of said county, have such briars, undergrowth, bushes
and weeds cut and removed, and for so doing the said County
Commissioners shall be reimbursed all costs and reasonable ex-
penses necessarily incurred, to be recovered from the party or
parties so delaying or refusing to cut and remove such briars,
undergrowth, bushes and weeds in the same manner as debts
of like amounts are recoverable.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from and after the first day of June, 1924.

CHAPTER 521.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 262
of Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Washington County, " sub-title "Jurors, " fixing
the compensation of jurors.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 262 of Article 22 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Washington County, " sub-
title "Jurors, " be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments to read as follows:
262. The County Commissioners shall levy a sufficient sum,
in advance, to pay the jurors attending the Circuit Court,
promptly at the close of each jury term thereof. Jurors shall
receive four ($4. 00) dollars per day for each and every day
they shall attend said Court, in addition to mileage as now
provided by law.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1924.

AN ACT to amend Section 233 of Duckett and Clagett's Code
for Prince George's County, being Section 117A of Chapter
434 of the Acts of 1904, relating to tax sales in said county.
