name may have perpetual succession, sue and be sued, have
and use a common seal, and may purchase and hold all kinds
of property, including real estate, or dispose of the same by
sale or lease for the benefit of said district.

Section 2. And be it further enacted, That the boundaries
of the said town of Colmar Manor shall be as follows: Be-
ginning at the intersection of the east boundary line of the
Fort Lincoln Cemetery with the line of the Washington-Bal-

timore Boulevard, and running thence due north to the north
line of said Boulevard, and thence along the north line of said
Boulevard to high-water mark on the east bank of Anacostia
River, thence along said high-water mark on said east bank to
the boundary line of the District of Columbia, thence along
said District of Columbia boundary line to the Fort Lincoln
Cemetery, thence along the Fort Lincoln Cemetery to the
point of beginning.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the town of Col-
mar Manor shall be divided into four wards, as follows: First
Ward—That portion of the said town lying between the Dis-
trict of Columbia and a line from the Boulevard to the Ana-
costia River, following the west line of Pershing Avenue.
Second Ward—That portion of the said town bounded on the
west by a line from the Boulevard to the river, following the
west line of Pershing Avenue, and on the east by a line from
the Boulevard to the river, following the west line of Baker
Avenue. Third Ward—That portion of the said town bounded
on the west by a line from the Boulevard to the river, fol-
lowing the west line of Baker Avenue, and on the east by a
line from the Boulevard to the river, following the west line
of Wilson Avenue. Fourth Ward—That portion of the said
town lying east of a line from the Boulevard to the river, fol-
lowing the west line of Wilson Avenue.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That the officers of said
town shall consist of a Mayor, four Councilmen and a Treas-
urer—Mayor and Treasurer to be elected by the combined
vote of the said town—and four Councilmen, to be elected by
their respective wards; and such appointive officers as are here-
inafter designated; and each officer appointed shall continue
to hold office for such term as the Mayor and Council shall
designate, or until his successor is duly qualified. Before en-
tering upon the duties of his office each officer shall take oath
