Treasurer separately from the other funds belonging to said
county, and shall be paid out only by check of the County
Treasurer countersigned by the President of the Board of
County Commissioners of Caroline County; and no part of
said fund shall be used for other purpose than that designated
by this Act.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That the said County
Commissioners shall each and every year beginning with the
year 1924, at the time of making their annual levy on the as-
sessable property of Caroline County, shall levy a tax sufficient
to raise a sum of money large enough to pay the interest as it
falls due on all of said bonds issued and outstanding under the
provisions of this Act, and, in addition thereto, they shall levy
in each and every year beginning with 1928 aforesaid, the fur-
ther sum of five thousand dollars for the purpose of redeeming
said bonds as they shall mature as aforesaid, until all of said
bonds are paid.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1924.

CHAPTER 469.

AN ACT to extend the jurisdiction of the Washington Subur-
ban Sanitary Commission over the Town of Gaithersburg
and the community known as Washington Grove, in Mont-
gomery County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Town of Gaithersburg, in Montgomery County,
as the same is defined by its corporate limits and the adjoining
community of Washington Grove as the same is defined on the
plat thereof recorded among the plat records of Montgomery
County, Maryland, be and the same is hereby brought within
the jurisdiction of the Washington Suburban Sanitary Com-
mission and shall for all of the purposes set forth in Chapter
122 of the Acts of 1918 and amendments thereto be considered
a part of the Washington Suburban Sanitary District. The
Commission may whenever it deems it advisable construct a
water and sewer system or systems, either or both, in any or
all parts of the territory hereinbefore described and said water
or sewer systems or any extensions thereto shall be taken and
considered as a part of the Commission's general system and
