ALBERT C. RITCHIE, GOVERNOR. 1117

of Public Local Laws of the State of Maryland, title "Cecil
County, " sub-title "Wild Fowl"), as said section was amended
by Chapter 458 of the Acts of 1922, be and it is hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted with amendments, to read as follows:

208. It shall be lawful for the bona fide residents of Kent
and Cecil Counties and also the owner or owners of real estate
of the value of five hundred dollars or more in Kent or Cecil
Counties, who are not actual bona fide residents of either
County, to shoot wild fowl from sink boxes and from stick,
floating or booby blinds in the waters of the Sassafras River,
in said Counties, from the first day of November until the
31st day of January, in each year, upon obtaining a license
so to do, as provided in the succeeding section; provided, that
no shooting from sink boxes, stick, floating or booby blinds
shall be allowed on the Cecil side of said river unless with the
consent of the owner or tenant of the shore or point, opposite
which the same may be placed; and provided further that no
shooting from stick, floating or booby blinds shall be allowed
opposite any shore or point on the Kent side of said river
unless with the consent of the owner or tenant of said shore
or point; and provided further that no stick, floating or booby
blinds shall be anchored, tied or erected in said river at a
distance greater than one hundred yards from the shore.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1924.

CHAPTER 440.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 134
of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title
"Crimes and Punishments, " sub-title "Fraud—Boarding
House, Hotel and Livery Stable Keepers, " fixing the maxi-
mum fine which may be imposed.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 134 of Article 27 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland, title "Crimes and Punishments, " sub-title
"Fraud—Boarding House, Hotel and Livery Stable Keepers, "
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments
to read as follows:

134. Every person who shall at any hotel, inn, boarding
house, hospital, sanitarium or livery stable receive or cause to
