SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That the proceeds from
the sale of said bonds shall be paid over forthwith to the Board
of Education for Somerset County, by the said County Com-
missioners of Somerset County, to be used by said Board of
Education for the purchase of land and the erection and equip-
ment of permanent buildings to be used for public schools in
said Somerset County, at such places in said County as the said
Board of Education shall deem necessary and proper, and none
of the proceeds of said bonds shall be used for any other pur-
pose.
SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That the question whether
the said ''Public School Improvement Bonds of Somerset
County, Maryland, " shall be issued or not by the County Com-
missioners of Somerset County for the purpose aforesaid, shall
be submitted to the registered and qualified voters of Somerset
County at the next regular election held in said County, the
first Tuesday after the first Monday in November, in the year
1924, and the Supervisors of Election of said Somerset County
shall have printed on the ballots prepared for said next regular
election, in clear, plain, bold type, of the size and style required
by the General Election Laws of the State of Maryland for
the printing of names of candidates on said ballots, the follow-
ing question, to wit:
''Shall Public School Improvement Bonds of the par value
of one hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($150, 000. ) be issued
by the County Commissioners of Somerset County for the pur-
pose of enabling the Board of Education of said Somerset
County to use the proceeds thereof for purchasing sites, and
building and equipping new school buildings in said Somerset
County, as provided by Chapter of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, Session 1924. " Immediately after
which shall be printed on separate lines, with a square or box
to the right and opposite the words ''For School Bonds, " and
a corresponding square to the right and opposite the words
"Against School Bonds, " all to be printed on said ballots, so
as to give the voter a clear opportunity to designate by a cross
mark (X) in the proper square or box, his or her decision for
or against said School Bonds.
The Judges or Clerks of said election shall count the vote on
said question of the issue of said bonds, and make return there-
of to the Supervisors of Election of said Somerset County in
like manner as the vote for candidates at said regular election
