1088 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 417

of Maryland, of the year 1888, and the codification thereof, in
the Local Code of Frederick County, by George R. Dennis,
Esq., be and the same are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That Section 103 of Article 27
of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Crimes and Punish-
ments, " sub-title "Drunkenness and Disorderly Conduct, " be,
and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted to read as fol-
lows:

103. Every person who shall be found drunk, or acting1 in
a disorderly manner, to the disturbance of the public peace,
upon any public street or highway, in any city, town or county,
in this State, or at any place of public worship or public resort
or amusement in any city, town or county of this State, shall
be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction there-
of, shall be subject to a fine or not less than one dollar and not
more than twenty-five dollars, and costs of prosecution, and
when said fine and costs are not paid, the party so convicted
shall be committed to the county jail for a term not exceeding
thirty days or until discharged in due course of law. The
Justices of the Peace of the respective counties of this State
shall have concurrent jurisdiction over such offense with the
Circuit Court for their respective counties; and Justices of the
Peace selected to sit at the respective station houses in the City
of Baltimore shall have concurrent jurisdiction over such of-
fense with the Criminal Court of Baltimore City.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

June 1, 1924.

CHAPTER 417.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Chapter 403,
Acts of 1918, codified as Section 54, Article 63, in the 1916-
1918 Supplement to the Annotated Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland, and to add new sections thereto, to be
known as Section 55, Section 56, Section 57, Section 58,
providing for a lien on motor vehicles for repairs, storage
and accessories, and providing also for the method of enforc-
ing said lien, and the manner of determining the amount
due in disputed cases.
