erected thereon, farming implements and stock used in con-
nection therewith, contained within the limits described in this
Act, which are now used exclusively for agricultural purposes
except dwellings and improvements other than those above de-
scribed and the land upon which they are erected, and the
curtilage and garden used in connection therewith, shall be
exempt from assessment and taxation.

SEC. 254A. The Mayor and Aldermen of Frederick are here-
by authorized and directed to erect or plant suitable stone or
iron markers to designate and definitely establish the lines of
the taxable limits of Frederick City, and it shall be unlawful
for any person or persons to move or remove any such marker,
or to cause, aid or abet any person in doing so; and any per-
son violating any of the provisions of this Section shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined not
less than one hundred dollars nor more than five hundred dol-
lars, or be imprisoned in the House of Correction for a period
not less than three months nor more than two years, or be both
fined and imprisoned in the discretion of the court.

SEC. 254B. All the rights, titles and interests heretofore
acquired by The Mayor and Aldermen of Frederick, or by any
other corporation, firm or individual, are hereby saved and
preserved to be availed of by The Mayor and Aldermen of
Frederick, or any other corporation, firm or individual as
fully and to the same extent as though this Act had not been
passed, and nothing in this Act shall be construed as in any
manner impairing the validity of any such rights, titles and in-
terests which have accrued under said Chapter 93 of the Acts
of Assembly of 1914, or said Chapter 550 of the Acts of Assem-
bly of 1906, or of any rights and remedies thereof or in re-
lation thereto, but all such rights and remedies shall remain
and be enforceable the same as though this Act had not been
passed.

Maryland, title "Crimes and Punishments, " sub-title "III.
Places of Reformation and Punishment, " by adding five
new sections, the said new sections to follow immediately
