(C) That said Commission shall, within one week after said
Commission, at one of its regular meetings, shall have received
a petition signed by not less than ten registered voters who are
taxpayers upon real property in said town, hold a special meet-
ing. Such petition shall state the purpose for which petitioners
wish such special meeting to be held and shall be sworn to, as
to the genuineness of the signatures thereon, before the Secre-
tary Commissioner.

(D) That no special meeting of said Commission shall be
held unless at least one notice thereof, which notice shall indi-
cate the purpose thereof, shall have been posted by said Com-
mission in a public place in each ward of said town and also
posted at the place where such meeting is to be held, at least
three (3) days prior to the date fixed for such special meeting.

SEC. 11. And be it further enacted: (A) That annually, on
or before the first Monday in March after this charter becomes
effective, The Cottage City Commission shall, by resolution en-
tered in the minute books of said Commission, appoint a Board
of Election Supervisors, to be composed of three members, one
from each ward, each of whom shall be a citizen of the United
States, of the age of twenty-five years or more, and a bona fide
resident of said town for at least three months.

(B) That the members of said Board shall receive no salary
or compensation.

(C) That, before entering upon the duties of his office, each
member of said Board shall take oath, before the Secretary Com-
missioner, or before a justice of the peace or other officer or
person (including a notary public) authorized by law to admin-
ister oaths in Prince George's County, that he will diligently,
faithfully and impartially discharge his duties as member of
said Board.

(D) That said Board shall select one of its members as clerk.
And each member of said Board shall have power to adminis-
ter oaths in connection with the registration of voters in said
town.

(E) That said Board shall, on the first Monday in April, if
not a legal holiday, and if a legal holiday then on the day fol-
lowing, and also on the second Monday in April, if not a legal
holiday, and if a legal holiday then on the day following, con-
duct a registration of the qualified voters of said town.
