Patrick Carvack
 Idictm.t felony for Stealing a Certain W.m Clarks
Shirt   The afd alledges that he hath not Security
to give for his appearance to next Court And thereupon
prays a tryal Immediately Tench Francis Clk. of the
Indictm.ts being gone from the Court  It is ordered that
James Calder one of the Attrys of this Court prosecute the Same Indictm.t ag.st the
afd Patrick And Thereupon it is orderd that Joseph Young Gent Sherf of
Said County here present in Court keep the afd Patrick in Safe Custody untill he
Shall know his tryal on the Same Indictm.t  But afterwards the Same Patrick
comes and Saith that he hath Security to give to answer as above  And Thereupon
comes into Court and Acknowledges himselfe Indebted to the Right hon.rble the Lord
prop.ry in the Sum of Thirty pounds Sterling to be Leveyd on his body Goods and
Chattles Lands and Tenements Conditionally That if he do not make his personall
appearance at the next Court to be held for Said County on the third tuesday in March
next to Answer unto the afd Indictm.t on his Ldship's behalfe And that in the
mean time he is to be of good behav.r as herewith he Acknowledges himselfe Content

    Likewise at the Same Court came Peter Marcy John Beck and William Beck and
Acknowledged themselves Indebted to the Right hon.rble the Lord prop.ry in the Sume of
tenn pounds Sterling Each to be Leveyd on their Bodys goods and Chattles Lands
and Tenements to the use of his Said Lord Ship his heires and Successors Conditionally
that if the Said Patrick Carvack Shall not make his personall appearance at the next
Court to be held at our Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third
tuesday in March next to Answer unto the afd Indictm.t of felony and that in the
mean time he is to be of good behav.r wherewith the Said Peter John & William
Each Acknowledges themselves to be Content

    But afterwards at the Same Court the Same day came the afd Securitys
and Saith that they are affraid the afd Patrick will not Stay to the next
County Court and a bide his tryall Therefore prays that the Court will take the
Same Patrick and discharged them  Thereupon the Said Patrick being psent
in court in his prop.r pson and Appears and prays that for As much
as his Suretys are not willing to Stand for him that the Court will discharge
the afd Recognizances Therefore the Court Orders that the Same be
discharged  And now here at the Same Court is the Same Patricks Recogniz.c
and the Said Peter Marcys John Becks and William Becks there Recognizances
for him the Said Patrick are all disch.d

    Ordered by the Court here that the Said Patrick Carvack be kept in
Safe Custody by the Sherf of Said County untill he Shall give Security for his app.rc
to next Court to Answ.r unto the afd Indictm.t and y.t in y.e mean time he is to be of good behav.r
