Benjamin Ricaud Samuel Waltis who being duely Elected tryed & Sworn to
Say the truth in the premises upon their oath do say that Catherin Bullock is
guilty of Stealing the head Cloath is She Stands Indicted And no guilty as
the Rest and by W.m Woodland their foreman allso Say Therefore it is
Considered by the Justices here att the Court House in the Town of Chester
in s.d Co.ty on the third Tuesday in November being the Eighteenth day of s.d
month Anno Domini one thousand Seven hundred and twenty nine
That the afd Catherine Bullock Stands in the pillory for the Space of
half an hour & that afterwards She Receive at the publick whiping
pose twenty one Lashes well laid on her Bare Back till the Blood
appears as a punneshment for her afd Crime of Stealing the head
Cloaths afd according to the force form and effect of the Verdict
and allso it is Considered that the s.d Catherin Bullock pay the Sume
of forty Eight pounds of Tob.o the four fold of the head Cloaths
afd and allso pay the Sume of Eight hundred thirty nine pounds
of Tob.o Costs accruing on the primises afd to the officers of
this Court

    His allso Considered by the Court here at this day to wit y.e Day &
year Last mentioned that the Sherfs of Kent County take the afd
Catherin Bullock into his Custody and Execute the punnishment in
the Judgment afd Specified and afterwards to bring her into Court
againe of which precept the said Sherf to wit Joseph Young Gent
high Sherf of Kent County makes return on the day & year last Said
that he hath Executed the s.d Judgment and allso hath here
the s.d Catherin before the Court

    Ordered by the Court here to wit the Same day & year last
mentioned that Joseph Young Sherf of said keep the afd Katherine
in Custody untill the four fold and fees accrueing on the premises are
Satisfied
