Tob.o Costs accruing on the primises afd to the officers of this Court
Ordered that Surety be gave for fine and fees be given on which
Madox Blackstone of s.d Co.ty saith that he will pay y.e Co.ty y.e sum
of thirty Shillings for the fine afd & the Cost thereon accruing

the Lord Propry that now is for the body of Kent
County afd upon there oath do present that Dan.l
Perkins of Shrewsbury parish in Kent County afd planter the tenth
day of October Anno Domini Seventeen hundred & twenty eight
at the parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdiction of
this Court in and upon a Certain Thomas Gresham in the
peace of God and of the s.d L.d propry then & there being with force
& arms an assault did make and him the s.d Thomas then & there
did beat wound & Evelly Treat so that of his Life it was much
dispeared and other harms to him then & there did to the Great
Damage f the Same Thomas and Contrary to the peace of
the s.d L.d prop.ry that now is his Good rule & Government &c.a

    Thomas Gresham Nathaniel Rickets Thomas Sherman
on y.e Back of the proceeding Indictment was Indorsed as follows viz.t
Billa Vera Henry Evans forman            And the afd Dan.l Perkins
in his proper person Cometh & Saith y.t he is not guilty in any Sort
of the premises above upon him Imposed as by afd Indictment it is
obliged & thereof he puteth himself upon the Cuntry Daniel
Perkens in proper person            And he who followeth for y.e
Lord prop.ry in Lik maner Saith he is Guilty

    Thereupon Command was given to y.e Sherf of Kent County
y.t he Immediatly Cause to Come here twelve &c.a by whom &c.a who
neither &c.a To recognazances &c.a because as well &c.a of which
precept the s.d Sherf to wit Joseph Young Gent now here at
this day to wit y.e Seventeenth day of June anno Domini one
thousand Seven hundred & twenty nine makes Return that
he hath Commanded & now here afterwards to wit the day
