503 Court the Same writ &c.a Att which said Court to wit at Kent County at the Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in June being the Eighteenth day of said writ Came John Gresham Gentl. Sherriff of Said County and made Return thereof to the Court here thereof endorsed as foll. viz.t Cepi Corpus p Jn.o Gresham Sherff And now here at this Court to wit the same day last mentioned came the afd Lord prop.ry by Tench Francis his attorney and prayed the afd Mary might answer the Information afd And the afd Mary being called came and in her proper person appeared The Court thereupon Ordered that John Gresham Sherriff of Kent County keep the afd Mary in Safe Custody untill She Should give Security as afd Thereupon Joshua George of Cæcil County Gentl. present here in Kent County Court at the Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in June being the Eighteenth day of Said Month Anno Dom. one Thousand Seven hundred and thirty four Came in his proper person and Acknowledged himself Indebted to the Right Hon.rble the Lord prop.ry of the province afd in the sum of five pounds Sterling to be made and Leveyed on his body Goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements to the use of his Said Lordship his heirs and Successors Conditionally That if the afd Mary Gale Shall not appear at next Court to be held for Said County on the third tuesday in August next then and there to Answer unto a Certain Information Against her for Consealing a Taxable called James Sanders &c.a Wherewith the same Joshua George acknowledges himself therewith Content This Court Continues the Information afd untill next August Court &c.a
John Jones late of Shrewsbury Parish in the Coty afd planter if he Should be found in his bailiwick and him Safe keep So that he have his body before the Justices of our next County Court to be held at our Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in June then next ensueing to Answer unto a Certain Indictment of felony for feloniously Stealing driveing and leading away one Hogg the goods and Chattles of a Certain William Boyer and being thereof found Guilty by a pettit Jury &c.a And that the Same Sherriff have at the Same Court |
