On a presentment by the orphans Jury on Acco.t Thomas Whitehead
y.e Same John ap.rs in his proper person to the Same which is as folls viz.t
We of the orphan Jury do Present John Spencer for not keeping Tho.s
Whitehead to his Trade but to Planters Labour

    The afd John offered Severally Excuses and the afd apprentis vindicated the afd
presentm.t The Court haveing heard the Allegations on both Sides And Mature
deliberation being thereupon taken  Therefore it is Considered by the Court
here viz.t This Nineteenth day of Novemb.r Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven hundred
and twenty Eight That The Said John Spencer be find One Thousand pounds of
Tobacco According to Act of Assembly in Such lately made and provided for his not
keeping the afd Apprentis to his Trade but putting him to Common Labour and that
the Same fine to the use of the Same Thomas &c.a And also pay this Sume of
                                        pounds of Tobacco Costs Arrissing on the afd psentm.ts

    And that the afd Thomas Whitehead be moved and gett a new Master

On psentment by the orphans Jury on acc.t of John Moding which
is as folls viz.t  Wee of the orphans Jury do present John Spencer
for not keeping John Moding to his trade but to planters labour

The afd John Spencer came into Court and appeared to the Same
in his proper person and Saith that is not guilty as above find the apprentis
Vindicated the af presentm.t The Court haveing heard the Allegations on both sides
and Mature deliberation being thereupon taken Therefore it is Considered
by the Court here viz.t this Nineteenth day of Novemb.r Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven
hundred and twenty Eight That the said John Moding be moved from his afd
Master to Serve other persons According to Act of Assembly in Such case lately
made & provided for and by reason the said John hath not performed as he might
to the Said Apprentis And also that he pay the Sum of
pounds of Tob.o Cost accrueing on the Same &c.a

present John Brooks of Morgans Creek for not Asking what his is
bound to learn Thomas Prier Son of Tho.s Pryer his trade

    And now here at this Court viz.t this 19.th day of Novemb.r Anno Dom. 1728 came
the afd John Brooks And in his proper person appeared to the afd presentm.t and
