471 his Recognizance being taken as afd in the Sum of five pounds Sterling is by this Court here discharged There being no cause Shewn to the Contrary Be it Rembred that on the twenty Sixth day of February Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty three Came before me One of the Right Honrable the Lord prop.ry His Justices for Kent County to keep the peace assigned Mary Whitworth wife of Jonathan Whitworth of Kent County Weaver And Acknowledges her Self indebted to the Right Honrable the Lord prop.ry in the Sum of five pounds Sterling to be made and Leveyed on her body goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements to the use of his Said Lordship his heirs and Successors Conditionally That if She the Same Mary Whitworth Shall not make her personal appearance at the next Court to be held for Kent County at the Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in March next ensueing Then and there to give her Evidence on behalf of his Lordship against a Certain Margaret Jones Concerning her breaking open the House of a Certain Jonathan Witworth and Stealing out of the Same House diverse goods and Chattles of the Same Jonathan Wherewith the Said Mary Whitworth Acknowledges herself to be therewith Content In Testimony whereof I have Sett my hand and Seal the day and Year afd Ebenez Blakiston And now here at this Court to wit at Kent County at the Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in March being the Nineteenth day of Said Month Anno Dom. One Thousand Seven hundred and thirty three Came the afd Mary Whitworth and in her proper person appeared and prayed that Her afd Recognizance mgt be discharged The Same Recognizance is by This Court here ordered to be discharged The afd Mary Whitworth her Recognizance being taken as afd in the Sum of five pounds Sterling is by this Court here discharged There being no cause Shewn to the Contrary
Weaver and Stealing Diverse goods and Chattles belonging to the Same Jonathan The afd Margaret offering no Security Is by this Court ordered into the Custody of John Gresham Gent Sherrif of the afd County he being present in Court and that he keep the Same Margaret in Safe Custody untill the next Assizes to be held for Said County Then and there to Answer unto what Shall be objected against her for breaking upon the House of the afd Jonathan Whitworth and Stealing Several goods & Chattles of his &c.a Ordered by this Court that Jonathan Witworth he being present in Court enter into Recognizance for his appearance at next Assizes as prosecutor against the afd Margaret Jones Thereupon Jonathan Witworth of Kent County Weaver and present in Court in his proper person and Acknowledged himself Indebted to the Right Honrable the Lord proprietarie in the Sum of thirty pounds Sterling to be made and Leveyed on his Body Goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements to the use of his Said Lordship his heirs and Successors Conditionally That if the Same Jonathan Witworth do not make his personal appearance at the next Assize to be held for Kent County afd |
