241 Same Continued untill next Court &c.a
the Lord prop.r of the province afd to his heirs and Successors in the Sum of twenty pounds Sterling money of Great Brittaine that is to Say the afd David Cole in the Sum of ten pounds Sterling and David Ford and Bartholomew Collins in the Sum of five pounds Sterling Each to be Leveyed on their Bodys goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements The Condition of this Recogniz.c is Such that whereas the above Bounden David Cole is charged by Elizabeth Beale of the afd County Single woman that he had the Carnal knowledge of her body at Several times and that the Said Elizabeth Beale is now with Child the Said David Cole which when Born will be a bastard If therefore the Said David Shall personally appear before his Ldships Justices of the peace for the County afd on the third Tuesday of this Instant Novemb.r then and their to abide and Receive what Shall be enjoyned by the Said Court Concerning the premisses and in the mean time to be of good behaviour That then this Recognizance taken before me the Subscriber one of the Lord prop.r Justices of the peace for the County afd to be void otherwise to Remain in full force T Wilson And now here at this Court to wit at the Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in Nov.r being the Sixteenth day of Said Month Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and thirty one Came the afd David Cole and in his proper person appeared and prayd the afd Recognizances might be disch.d Ordered by the Court here that the Same Recognizances be disch.d Thereupon the SAme David Coles Recognizance as afd is by this Court here disch.d there being no cause Shewn to the Contrary Also David Ford and Bartholomew Collins there Recognizances taken as afd is disch.d &c.a Each Ordered by the Court here that the afd David Cole enter into Recognizance with Suretys for his appearance to next Court Upon which David Cole in his proper person comes into Court and Acknowledged himself Indebted to The Right Hon.rble the Lord prop.ry in the Sum of ten pounds Sterling to be paid to his Said Lord Ship his heirs and Successors to be made and Leveyed on his body Goods and Chattles Lands & Tenements |
