239 Ordered by this Court That Sumon's be made out for Such persons as the Clarke of Indictments of this Court Shall direct for Evid.cs to the Grand Jury James Gallaway Sworn Cunstable of Chester Town Hundred and takes all the Oaths and makes and Subscribes the Test and Oath of Abjuration Richard Jackson Richard Noransell and George Cook Sworn to the Grand Jury against Edward Harris
of great Brittain to be Leveyed on their bodys goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements &c.a Conditionally if the afd William Body doth not make his personall appearance before the Justices of his Lord Ships Court to be held at Chester Town in Kent County the third tuesday in Nov.r next then and there to answer to Such Objected against him by a Certain Griffith Jones of Said County Concerning the assaulting and Battering of the Said James and in the mean time that he be of good behaviour And do not depart the Court without Licence Then this Recognizance to be Void otherwise be & remain in force & Vertue Taken & acknowledged Before me the date & date as above Written Henry Evans And now here at this Court to wit at the Court House in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in November being the Sixteenth day of Said Month Anno Dom. one Thousand Seven hundred thirty one came the afd William Body and in his proper person appeared and prayd the afd Recognizance might be discharged Ordered by the Court here That the afd Recognizance is disch.d no cause being Shewn to the Contrary Also John James's Recognizance for the appearance of the afd William Body is Disch.d Maryland fs.t Memorandum October 12.th Anno Dom. 1731 Griffith Jones |
