229 Master John Inch of Said County who is Inspected to have altered the marke of a hogg Then this Recognizance to be void Otherwise to remain in full force taken before me one of the Lord prop.rys Justices for Kent County Geo: Skirven And now here at this Court to wit on the Seventeenth day of August Anno Domini Seventeen hundred and thirty one came the afd William Thompson and in his proper person appeared And Ordered by the Court here that the afd Philip Rasons Recognizance for his appearance be disch.d Thereupon the afd Recognizance is by this Court here disch.d &c.a Ordered by the Court here that Surety be gave for the appearance of the afd William Thompson to the next Court &c.a And Thereupon came Mathew Howard of the afd County and Acknowledged himself indebted to the Right Hon.ble the Lord prop.ry in the Sum of ten pounds Sterling to be paid to his Said Lord Ship his heirs and Successors To be Leveyed on his body goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements Conditionally That if the afd William Thompson Shall not appear at the next Court to be held for Said County on the third tuesday in November next to Testifie on his Lordships behalf against the afd John Inch and the afd Matthew Howard Acknowledges himself Content Ordered by the Court here that the afd John Inch enter into Recognizance with Suretys for his appearance at next Court to answ.r the afd Indictments The Same John Inch came into Court and in his proper person Acknowledges himself indebted to the Right Hon.rble the Lord prop.ry in the Sum of forty pounds Sterling to be paid to his Said Lord Ship his heirs and Successors to be made & Leveyed on his body Goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements Conditionally that if he do not make his personall appearance at the next Court to be held for Said County on the third tuesday in November next then and there to answer unto what Shall be objected against him on his Lord Ships behalf on Account of An Indictment found against him for feloniously altering the mark of A hogg and in the mean time to be of good behaviour wherewith he Acknowledges himself to be therewith Content And also at the Same time came Philip Kennard Jun.r and James Calder of Kent County Gentlemen and in there proper persons Acknowledged themselves indebted to the Right Hon.rble the Lord prop.ry in the Sum of twenty pounds Sterl Each to be paid to his Said Lord Ship his heirs and Successors and to be made and Leveyed on their and either of their Bodys Goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements Conditionally That if the afd John Inch Shall not app.r and Answer unto the afd Indictment at the next Court to be held at one Court House in the Town of Chester in said County on the third Tuesday in November next and in the mean time |
