June Court 1731 Kent County fs Memorandum that Tench Francis Gent Attorney of the Right Honble the Lord prop.ry that now is for the County afd who for the Same Lord prop.ry in this part prosecuteth doth come into the County Court of the Said Lord prop.ry held for Kent County afd at Chester Town in the Same County before William Frisby Esq.r and his associates his Said Lordships Justices of the Same Court to wit on the Sixteenth day of March Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred & thirty and for the Same Lord prop.ry doth give the Same Justices here to understand and be informed that William Tidmarsh late of Chester Town in S.t Pauls Parish in the County afd Innholder the tenth day of February in the Year afd at Chester Town afd together with William Woods late of the Same Parish and County Tinker by their writing Obligatory with their Seals Sealed and as their Act & Deed delivered did become bound unto Joseph Young Sherrif of the Same County in the in the full and Just Sum of eight thousand pounds of Tobacco to be paid unto the Same Joseph his Ex.rs adm.rs or assigns to which payment well and truly to be made the Said William Tidmarsh and William Meeds did bond themselves there heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs joyntly & Severally firmly by the Same writing obligatory and the afd attorny of the Said Lord prop.ry doth give the Same Justices here further to understand and be informed that the afd William Tidmarsh afterward to wit the Same tenth day of February the premisses well knowing at Chester Town afd within the Jurisdicion of this Court minding and fraudulently intending him the Said Joseph in that part craftilly & Subtilly to deceive & defraud and to cause the Said writing obligatory to be of no force & effect falsly unlawfully Subtilly & deceitfully the writing obligatory afd unto the hands & possession of him the Same William with force & Arms did obtain & then and there with force & Arms falsly unlawfully voluntarily unjustly fraudulently & & against the will of the Said Joseph the Same writing obligatory did tear lacerate & mangle to the great deceit & prejudice of the Said Joseph and against the peace of the Same Lord prop.ry his good rule and government Wherefore the Same Attorney of the Said Lord prop.ry for the Same Lord prop.ry prayeth the advice of the Court here in the premisses and due process of Law against the Same William to Issue to Answer unto the Same Lord prop.ry of and upon the premisses &c.a |
