wherefore the afd attorney prayeth the advice of the Court herein the premisses for
the Said Lord prop.ry and due Process of Law against the afd Nicholas in
this part to issue to Answer to the Said Lord Prop.ry of and upon the
premisses &c.a

    And the afd Nicholas Neale in his proper person comes and Saith that
he cannot gainsay the Information afd So as afd against him brought nor
but that he is guilty of the premisses above upon him imposed as by the
afd Indictment it is alledged And thereupon Submits to the Court  Therefore
it is Considered by the Justices here to wit At the Court House in the
Town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in June being the
fifteenth day of Said Month Anno Com. Seventeen hundred and thirty one
That the afd Nicholas Neale pay the Sum of Six hundred pounds of Tob.o
it being as a fine for Committing the offince of fornication as afd as by
his Confession afd  And also pay the Sum of three hundred and one pounds
Tobacco Costs accrueing on the premisses afd to the officers of this Court
Ordered by the Court here That the Sherf of Kent County keep the
afd Nicholas Neale in Custody untill the fine & fees afd Shall be paid

Kent County fs Memorandum that Tench Francis Gent
attorney of the right honourable the Lord prop.ry that now is
for the County afd who for the Same Lord prop.ry in this part
prosecuteth doth come here into Kent County Court before
William Frisby Esq.r and his associates his Lordships Justices of the Same County
Court to wit at Chester Town in the afd County the Sixteenth day of March Anno
Dom. Seventeen hundred and thirty and for the Same Lord prop.ry doth give the
Court here to understand and being Informed that Honora Carroll late of Saint
Pauls Parish in the County afd Spinster the tenth day of June Anno Dom.
Seventeen hundred & thirty at the parish afd in the County afd within the
Jurisdicion of this Court did committ fornication with Neckolas Neale & did
permit the Same Nickolas then and there to have Carnal knowledge of her
body & to beget then & there a bastard child on the body of her the Same
Honora Contrary to the peace of the Said Lord prop.ry his good rule & government
and against the form of the Act of Assembly in that case made &
provided wherefore the afd attorney prayeth the advice of the Court here in
the premisses for the Said Lord prop.ry and due process of Law against the
afd Honora in this part to Issue to Answer unto the Said Lord prop.ry of and
upon the premisses &c.a
