19 the ninteenth day of March Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and twenty seven makes return that he hath here ready twelve &c.a as by his precept he was Commanded And now here afterwards to wit the day and year last mentioned Came again the afd Lord prop.ry and Phill.e Church by them Attrys afd and the Jurors of that Jury being Impannelled and Called likewise Came to wit Sam.ll Groom Samuell Tovey Robert Dunn Jun.r Abram Ambrose John Clove Robert Groom Humphry Younger Arthur Foreman Nath.ll Kennard Griffith Jones Edward Worrell Jam.s Maxwell who being Duly Elected tryed and Sworn to say the truth in the premisses upon their Oath do say that the afd Phil.e is guilty as he stand indicted and by Samuel Groom their foreman allso say &c.a Ordered that the Sherf of Kent County keep the said Phil.e in safe Custody untill the Judgment shall be rendered on the Verdict of the Jurors afd and that the Court may thereupon further Advise and that he give good Security for his Appearance and good behavour to next Court to Answer the same Att which said next Court to wit the Eighteenth day of June Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and twenty eight Came again the afd Phillemon Church in his proper person and the afd Lord prop.ry by Tench Francis Clerk of Indictments And the afd Cause being for the Court to render Judgment on the Verdict of the Jurors afd the same Court having not fully Considered the same he said Cause is further Considered untill the then next Court that they may therein further advise Att which said Court to wit the 20.th day of August Anno Dom. 1728 Came Again the afd Clerk of Indictments & the afd Phillemon in his proper person to Answer unto the Verdict of Jurors afd whereupon the Court having fully Considered the psses in relation to the Verdict |
