March Court 1730 Maryland Kent County fs.t Be it Remembered that on the fourth day of this Instant Jan.ry 1730 Joseph Hull and John Turner did Acknowledge themselves Justly Indebted to the Right Hon.rble the Lord prop.ry of the province afd to his heirs and Successors in the Sum of ten pounds Sterling money of Great Brittain Each to be Leveyed on their Bodys Goods and Cattles Lands & Tenements Conditionally that if the afd Joseph Hull & John Turner do not make their personal appearance before the Justices of his Ldships Court to be held for the afd County on the third Tuesday of March next then and there to give Such Evidence as they know Concerning the Right & property of A Mare Belonging to Luknor Middleton Suspected to be feloniously taken by a Certain Geo Linkhorn of the afd County And do not depart theme without leave of the Court that then this Recognizance to be Void otherwise to Remain in full force Taken before me one of the Lord prop.rs Justices of the peace for the afd County Geo Wilson And now here at this Court to wit the third tuesday in March being the Sixteenth day of Said Month Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and thirty came the afd Joseph Hull and John Turner and in their proper persons appeared to the afd Recognizance and prayd that they might be disch.d Ordered by the Court here that the afd Recognizance be disch.d Thereupon the afd Joseph Hull and John Turner their Recognizances as afd be disch.d Each as afd prayd being Kent County fs.t The Jurors for the Right Honourable the Lord prop.ry now is for the body of Kent County afd upon there Oath do present that Geo: Lincoln Late of Shrewsbury Parish in the County afd Planter the tenth day of September Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred & thirty with force and Arms at the parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdicion of this Court one mare of a grey colour of the price of eight hundred pounds of tobacco of the goods and Chattles of a Certain Lutener Middleton then and there being found then and there feloniously did Steal take and lead away Contrary to the peace of the Said Lord prop.ry that now is his good rule and government and against the form of the Act of Assembly in Such Case lately made and provided T francis Cler. pac.
