    There being and Indictm.t of fornication found against him the afd Philip
Carroll in his prop.r p.rson appears and Saith that he is no Sort guilty of the
fornication upon him Imposed as by the Same Indictm.t is alledged and
thereof he putteth himselfe upon y.e Country

    And he who follows for the Lord p.rp.ry in like manner Saith he is guilty

    Ordered by the Court thereupon that the Same Philip Carroll Ent.r into
Recognizance for his appearance to the next Court to be held for Said Coty
on the third tuesday in March next

    Philip Carroll of Kent County afd comes into Court and Acknowledges
himselfe Indebted to the Right hon.rble The Lord pprietary in the Sum of
ten pounds Sterl to be Leveyed on his body goods and Chattles Lands and
Tenements to the use of his Said Lord Ship his heires and Successors
Conditionally That if the afd Philip Carroll Shall not make his psonall
appearance at the next Court to be held for Said County on the third tuesday
in March next then and there to answ.r unto the afd Indictm.t of
fornication ^and in the mean time he is to be of good behav.r^ wherewith he acknowledges himselfe Content

    Likewise at the Same Court came Robert Key of the afd County planter
and Acknowledged himselfe indebted to The Right Hon.rble the Lord prop.ry in
the Sum of ten pounds Sterl to be made and Leveyed on his body goods
and Chattles Lands and Tenements to the use of his Said Lord Ship his heirs &
Successors Conditionally That if he the afd Philip Carroll Shall not make
his personall appearance at the next Court to be held for Said County
on the third tuesday in March next then and there to answ.r unto what
Shall be objected ag.st ^on^ the afd Indictm.t and in the mean time he is to be of good
behav.r     wherew.th he acknowledges himselfe Content

    Ordered by the Court here that Security be gave for Margret Falconar
as an Evid.c against The afd Philip

    Thereupon William Frisby of Kent County Gent Acknowledged himselfe
indebted to the Right Hon.rble the Lord prop.ry in the Sum of five pounds
Sterl to be made & Leveyed on his body goods & Chattles Lands & Tenements
to the use of his Said Lord Ship his heirs & Successors Conditionally that
if the afd Margret Falconar Shall not appear and answ be an Evid.c for his
Said Lord Ship in the Cause afd ag.st the afd Philip Carroll at next March
Court to be held for Said County on the third tuesday in s.d Month
wherewith he acknowledges himselfe Content
