ANNAPOLIS, MD., July 29, 1930.
Gentlemen of the Senate:
The House of Delegates, in response to the Governor's Procla-
mation, has met in extra session, and having organized by the selec-
tion of E. Brooke Lee, Speaker, and Albert J. Almoney, Chief
Clerk, is now ready to proceed with the business of the session.
We propose, with your concurrence, the appointment of a Joint
Committee of five—three upon the part of the House and two
upon the part of the Senate—to wait upon the Governor and in-
form him that the General Assembly is now prepared to receive
