street lines, grade lines and parking within the "Washing-
ton Suburban Sanitary District of said counties: to pro-
vide for planning a general system of streets, parks, grades
and building lines within said District, and to provide for
tbe expense thereof.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land., That Sections 5 and T of Chapter 118 of the Acts of
1922, entitled "An Act to repeal Sections 339, 400, 401 of
Chapter 790 of the Acts of 1912, Sections 143, 154, 155 and
156 of the Code of Local Laws of Prince George's County
(Duckett and Clagett's Code), relating to plats of subdivi-
sions of land and the recording thereof in Mongomery and
Prince George's Counties, and to enact in lieu thereof a gen-
eral law for said Montgomery and Prince George's Counties

providing for the preparation, approval and recording of plats
in said counties and the control of building lines, street lines,
grade lines and parking within the Washington Suburban
Sanitary District of said counties; to provide for planning a
general system of streets, parks, grades and building lines
within said District, and to provide for the expense thereof,"
be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments, so as to read as follows:

5. The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission shall
have the authority to establish grades for all streets, roads
and sidewalks within the Sanitary District, except State high-
ways, county roads and streets, alleys and sidewalks within

any incorporated town.

7. For the purpose of enabling said Commission to make its
survey, plans and plats and to establish the permanent system
of streets and highways, herein provided for, the said Commis-
sion may require payment from each person or persons submit-
ting a plat for approval an amount approximately equal to
the cost of labor involved in determining whether said plat
shall be approved or not, which sum shall be paid before said
plat is approved, bnt in no instance shall this charge be more
than twenty-five dollars.
