CHAPTER 432.
AN ACT to grant to the corporation of the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore the power to extend existing pension
systems and to establish new ones.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the corporation of the Mayor and City Council
of Baltimore shall have and is hereby expressly granted the
power to extend any existing pension system for the benefit
of its officers, agents, employees or servants and to establish
any new pension system for the benefit of any or all classes of
its officers, agents, employees or servants and to amend and
modify the same at its pleasure.

CHAPTER 433.
AN ACT to empower the Convention of the Protestant Epis-
copal Church of the Diocese of Washington to hold property
in the counties of Charles, Montgomery, Prince George's
and St. Mary's.

CHAPTER 434.
AN ACT to create a special taxing area or district and to be
known as Section 5 of the Village of Chevy Chase, Mont-
gomery County, Maryland, for the incorporation, election
and succession of a Citizens' Committee who shall ap-
point a Secretary-Treasurer and other necessary officers;
also directing the Board of County Commissioners of
Montgomery County, Maryland, to pay over to the Sec-
retary-Treasurer of said Citizens' Committee for dis-
bursement for improving, maintaining and repairing
county roads, streets and lanes, the money collected on
account of the county road tax in the same amount and
manner as is now required by law to be paid to incorpor-
ated towns in said county; also empowering the said Citi-
zens' Committee, subject to the approval of the said
Board of County Commissioners, to assess the cost of cer-
