therefor, during the month of June, 1922, and to renew the
same; said promissory notes or renewals thereof to bear inter-
est from date. $10, 000. 00 of said sum together with the inter-
est thereon to be due and payable not later than the 1st day
of September, 1922, and $10, 000. 00 together with the interest
thereon to be due and payable not later than the 1st day of
September, 1923. And the said County Commissioners are
hereby authorized to levy and collect as taxes on the assessable
property of said county, in the years 1922 and 1923, a sum
sufficient to pay said promissory notes or renewals thereof, to-
gether with the interest thereon when and as the same shall
become due and payable.

CHAPTER 44.
AN ACT to repeal Sections 461 to 481, inclusive, of Article
11, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Frederick
County, " sub-title "Woodsboro. "
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 461 to 481, inclusive of Article 11, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Frederick County, " sub-title
"Woodsboro, " be and the same are hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the first day of June, A. D. 1922.

CHAPTER 45.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 324
of Offutt's Code of the Public Local Laws of Baltimore
County, as the same was repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments by Chapter 123 of the Acts of 1920, relating to fees
of justices of the peace in Baltimore County and provid-
ing salaries for certain of said justices.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 324 of Offutt's Code of the Public Local
Laws of Baltimore County, as the same was repealed and re-
