of September, 1919, declare the charter of said corporation null
and void; therefore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the said proclamation of the Governor of Maryland,
insofar as it affected The Equipment Company of Baltimore
City, be and it is hereby set aside, and that the charter of the
said Equipment Company of Baltimore City be revived, to-
gether with all powers incident thereto from the date of said
proclamation. As a condiition precedent thereto, the said
Equipment Company of Baltimore City shall pay all taxes that
are due bv it to the State of Maryland.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of June, 1922.

CHAPTER 420.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections 488
and 489 of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (Dennis' Edition of 1918), title "Frederick Coun-
ty," sub-title "Justices of the Peace and Constables," as the
same were enacted by Chapter 191 of the Acts of 1916, and
by the amendment to Section 488 enacted by Chapter 580 of
the Acts of 1920 of the General Assembly of Maryland, the
said amendments relating to the salary, powers and jurisdic-
tion of Justices of the Peace for Election District No. 25 of
said Frederick County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 488 and 489 of Article 11 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title ''Frederick County," sub-
title "Justices of the Peace and Constables," as enacted by
Chapter 191 of the Acts of 1016 and by the amendment to Sec-
tion 488 enacted by Chapter 580 of the Acts of 1920 of the
General Assembly of Maryland, be and they are hereby repeal-
ed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read as follows:
488. The three justices of the peace for Election District
No. 2, and the justice of the peace for Election District No.
25, provided for in the preceding section, shall each be paid by
the County Commissioners of said county, in equal quarterly
installments, the sum of six hundred dollars per annum, and
