added to Offutt's Code of the Local Laws of Baltimore County
of the Edition of 1915, to follow immediately after Section
469 of said Code, as said section was repealed and reenacted
by Chapter 4 of the Acts of 1920, authorizing the Roads En-
gineer of Baltimore County, with the approval of the County
Commissioners of Baltimore County, to make certain changes
in the road budget of said county after its adoption or ap-
proval; said new section to read as follows:

Section 469A, Nevertheless the Roads Engineer of Baltimore
County, with the approval of the County Commissioners of
said county, shall be and he is hereby authorized to withdraw
not more than fifteen per cent, of any allowance for any road
named in said budget or comprehensive plan of road work re-
ferred to in the preceding section and to apply the amount of
said withdrawal in the improvement and repair of any other
public road; nevertheless, the total amount of money provided
by said budget to be spent in any district shall not be reduced.

Approved March 14th, 1922.

CHAPTER 37.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 115
of Offutt's Code of the Local Laws of Baltimore County of
the edition of 1916, as said section was amended by Chapter
2 of the Acts of 1920, relating to the duties of the County
Commissioners of Baltimore County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 115 of Offutt's Code of the Local Laws of
Baltimore County of the Edition of 1916, as said section was
amended by Chapter 2 of the Acts of 1920, be and the same is
hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read
as follows:

Section 115. There shall be five County Commissioners of
Baltimore County who shall hold office for the term of four

years and shall be eligible for re-election. They shall each re-
ceive an annual salary of twenty-four hundred dollars and no
more for any purpose whatsoever, payable monthly by the
Treasurer of said county; and they are required to meet for
the transaction of public business, at their office at Towson on
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week, and as much
