cession, and shall have such powers as are conferred upon cor-
porations incorporated under the General Laws of the State,
as may reasonably be necessary to carry out the objects and
purposes and to protect the interests of said body corporate,
and to exercise the powers by this Act conferred upon it.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That said corporation
shall be managed by a board of three directors, and that Rabbi
A. N. Swartz, Rabbi S. Schaffer and Simon Rief are the names
of the directors who shall serve for the first year or until their
successors are duly elected and qualified.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the said corpora-
tion be and it is hereby authorized and empowered to confer
the degrees of Rabbi, slaughterer and Hebrew teacher, and
to perform such other acts as may be necessary for the carrying
out of the purposes of said corporation.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1922.

CHAPTER 389.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 4 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (Revised Edition of 1915), title
"City of Baltimore," sub-title "Police Commissioners," said
new section to be known as Section 777AA, and to follow
immediately after Section 777A of said Article, providing
that the police charwomen shall be included in the provisions
of Section 777 of said Article relating to pensions.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (Revised Edi-
tion of 1915), title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Police Com-
missioners," said new section to be known as Section 777AA,
to follow immediately after Section 77TA of said Article, and
to read as follows:
777AA. The said Board of Police Commissioners are here-
by authorized, empowered and directed to include the char-
women of the several station-houses of Baltimore City within
the provisions of Section 777 of this Article so that they may
