No stay of execution shall be granted on any such judgment
unless a supersedas be filed, with proper surety thereon, as
now provided by law.

For the purpose of this Act return days to which process
issued hereunder shall be returnable, shall be the first Monday
in March, third Monday in June, third Monday in Septem-
ber, second Monday in December and also the first Monday
in February, the second Monday in April, the Second Monday
in August, and the first Monday in November, and all process
issued under the provisions of this Act shall be returnable to
the next succeeding return day, as above provided, after the
issuing of said process.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1922.

CHAPTER 364.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 313
of the Code of Local Laws of Prince George's County, codi-
fied by Marion Duckett and Thomas Van Clagett, as amended
by Chapter 377 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, 1918, increasing the amount which may be borrowed
for sidewalk, curb, gutter, roadbed and street improvements
from twenty-five thousand dollars to fifty thousand dollars.

Section 313. To effectuate the improvements named in the
preceding section, the Mayor and Common Council of Hyatts-
ville are hereby authorized and empowered to borrow from
time to time, on the credit of the town, a sum or sums of
money, which shall not, however, in the aggregate at
any one time exceed fifty thousand dollars in amount;
and to issue certificates of indebtedness therefor, which
shall be payable within two years from the date of
issuance, with interest not to exceed the rate of six per cent,
per annum, payable annually, unless of shorter duration, then
at the maturity of said obligation; and the treasurer of said
town is charged with the custody of any moneys received from
the issues of sale of said certificates of indebtedness as above
mentioned and with the prompt collection and safe keeping
of the moneys arising from assessments upon sidewalks, curbs,
gutters and street improvements which last said funds shall be
