Mayor and Council as aforesaid, shall be filed with the clerk of
the said town. If such bond is required by the Mayor and
Council, the said justice of the peace shall furnish said bond
before he acts as such. The said justice of the peace shall, on
the first day of every month following his appointment, ac-
count for and pay over to the County Commissioners of Mont-
gomery County all fines, penalties, forfeitures and costs im-
posed by him, which he shall receive for, or on account of,
criminal offences tried before him under the provisions of the
public general laws, the public local laws, except for violation
of the ordinances of the said town which shall be paid to the
town of Takoma Park. The said justice of the peace shall be
entitled to receive the fees now allowed by law in Montgomery
and Prince George's Counties to other justices of the peace, in
those counties respectively, for issuing any warrant of arrest,
or summons for witnesses, or for hearing's, trial judgment, and
commitment, and shall also receive and be allowed the same
fees as other justices of the peace in the said counties are re-
spectively allowed in civil actions, and shall be paid in the
same manner as other justices of the peace are paid in the
said counties, respectively.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Section 620 of
Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Montgomery County," sub-title "Takoma Park," as re-
enacted by Chapter 790 of the General Assembly of 1912, be
and the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That all laws and parts
of laws in conflict with this Act be and the same are hereby

repealed.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of the public health and safety, and being
passed upon a yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths of
all the members elected to each of the two Houses of the Gen-
eral Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of its
passage.
