CHAPTER 347.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 115
of Article 21 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Talbot County," sub-title ''Terrapin and Crabs,''
as said section was amended by Chapter 667 of the Acts of
1910, to permit the use of haul seines for fishing in certain
waters of Talbot County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 115 of Article 21 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Talbot County," sub-title "Ter-
rapin and Crabs," as said section was amended by Chapter 667
of the Acts of 1910, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted
with amendments to read as follows:

115. It shall be lawful to catch fish in the waters of the
Miles River and all of its tributaries, and in all the tributaries
of the Wye and Great Choptank Rivers lying solely in Talbot
County, with gill nets or hook and line at any time, and it
shall be lawful to catch fish in Skipton Creek and in the Chop-
tank River north of a line drawn from Cook's Point in Dor-
chester County to Chain's Point in Talbot County, including
Harrison's Creek, with haul seines from the first day of August
to twentieth day of May following, and it shall be unlawful to
set any net so that it will extend more than one-half the dis-
tance across the river or creek in which it may be set; and it
shall be lawful to catch fish in all other waters of said county
with hook and line at any time, and to take and catch fish with
gill nets, haul seine, drag nets, fish baskets, fish pots, pound
nets and fykes from the first day of August to the twentieth
day of May following; provided, however, that the meshes in
all seines, nets, pounds and fykes are in the bar not less than
one and one-half inches.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1922.

Approved April 13th, 1922.

of Article 93 of Bagby's Annotated Code of the Public Civil
Laws of Maryland, title "Testamentary Law," sub-title
"Widows."
