the said one-half of the receipts from dog licenses in said
county for the said period of two years named in Section 1 of
Chapter 593 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland
of 1020, for aiding in the erection and completion of the said
Colored Industrial School at Pomonkey, in said county, or for
aiding in the discharge or payment of any debt incurred by
any duly authorized person in the erection or completion of
said school.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1922.

CHAPTER 267.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 3 of
the Charter of the town of Barton, Allegany County, as said
section was amended by Chapter 85 of the Acts of 1920,
defining the corporate limits of said town.

CHAPTER 268.
AN ACT to repeal Section 128 of Article 16 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Montgomery Coun-
ty," sub-title "County Commissioners," and to re-enact said
Section 128 with amendments, thereby fixing the compen-
sation for the Clerk to the County Commissioners and pro-
viding for the appointment of and compensation of assistant
clerks.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 128 of Article 16 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Montgomery County," sub-
title "County Commissioners," be and the same is hereby re-
pealed and said Section 128 be and the same is hereby re-en-
acted with amendments so as to read as follows:
Section 128. They shall appoint a clerk, and for his serv-
ices as such he shall receive a salary to be determined by the
County Commissioners not to exceed the sum of $2,000.00,
