Section 3. Be U enacted, That the said County Commis-
sioners shall meet at the alms house at least once a month for
the purpose of transacting such necessary business in relation
to same as may come to their attention, view and inspection.

Section 4. Be it enacted, That the County Commissioners
shall have the power and authority to pass such needful regu-
lations as they may deem wise and beneficial for the govern-
ment of said institution and its inmates.

Section 5. And be it enacted, That the County Commission-

ers shall have the power and authority to appoint an overseer
and matron of said alms house and such other officers and
servants as to them shall appear necessary and they shll ap-
point such overseer, matron, officers or servants at such salary
as said Commissioners shall deem adequate.

Section 6. Be it enacted, That every overseer shall enter
into a bond, with good and sufficient securities, in the penalty
of five hundred dollars, payable to the State of Maryland, con-
ditioned for the faithful performance of the duties of his office.

Section 1. Be it enacted, That the Commissioners may re-
move such overseer and all other officers appointed by them
with or without cause or notice.

Section 8. Be it enacted, That whenever a vacancy shall
exist in the office of overseer of the poor, either by the expira-
tion of the time for which he was appointed or by removal, the
overseer whose office shall so become vacant shall, upon the
order of said "Commissioners deliver up to the Commissioners
the possession and custody of the alms house and all property
and effect of every description thereto belonging; and upon his
neglect or refusal to do so, it shall be the duty of the sheriff of
the county, upon the request of said Commissioners to remove
him therefrom.

Section 9. Be it enacted, That the clerk of the trustees of
the poor, shall on the first Monday in July in the year 1922 de-
liver up to the clerk to the County Commissioners all books,
papers, moneys or other property in his custody as said clerk,
and the said clerk to the County Commissioners shall have
charge of all records, accounts, books, papers and other prop-
erty in relation to any and all matters appertaining to said
institution.
