The applicant may make application for said license either
in person or by mail, and shall pay to said clerk of court of
Dorchester Comity the sum of five ($5. 00) dollars. In addi-
tion to the license fee so received, the clerk issuing same shall
collect and retain the sum of fifty cents from each licensee.
The State Game Warden shall supply said clerk of court with
said license blanks, bearing the signature of the State Game
Warden, and said license shall be countersigned by the clerk
issuing same, who shall at the same time fill out on a stub at-
tached to the license blank the name and address of the licensee,
and shall then detach said stub and mail same to the State
Game Department. The Clerk of the Circuit Court of Dor-
chester County shall on the first day of June, 1922, and on the
first day of each and every month thereafter transmit to the
Comptroller or State Game Warden of this State all moneys
received by him for said licenses. The said amounts so re-
ceived by the Comptroller or State Game Warden, shall be
placed to the credit of the State Game Protection Fund and
shall be disbursed for the protection and propagation of game
fish and fishes.
Such license shall be void on the 30th clay of June in each
and every year following the date of issuance.
185G. Any person or persons who shall interfere with or
destroy any net or nets set in accordance with the provisions
of this Act, or any person who shall set any nets on any area
reserved as provided in this Act or shall violate any of the pro-
visions of this Act, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor
and upon conviction thereof before any justice of the peace of
this State, shall be fined fifty dollars for each and every such
offense, and shall stand committed to a county jail of Dor-
chester County until such fine and costs are paid. The State
Game Warden or any deputy game warden, sheriff, constable
or other officer or person, shall be empowered to enforce the
provisions of this Act. One-half of all fines derived through
prosecution of violators shall be paid to the informer, the other
one-half to the Comptroller or State Game Warden of this
State to be credited, to the State Game Protection Fund.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws or parts
of laws, both local and general, inconsistent with the provi-
sions of this Acts are hereby repealed to the extent of such
inconsistency.
