SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1922.

Approved April 13th, 1922.

CHAPTER 202.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments. Section 2 of
Chapter 140 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, passed at the December session, 1829, entitled, "An
Act to incorporate The Baltimore Hebrew Congregation, "
as said Section was amended by Chapter 159 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January
session, 1910.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 2 of Chapter 140 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, passed at the December session, 1829,
entitled "An Act to Incorporate The Baltimore Hebrew Con-
gregation, " as the same was amended and re-enacted by Chap-
ter 159 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland,

passed at the January session, 1910, be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read as fol-
lows:

Section 2. ''That the affairs of said Congregation shall be
managed by a board of not less than six nor more than fifteen
Electors, the exact number and method of election to be de-
termined at the annual meetings of said Congregation, to be
held on the first Monday in January in each and every year or

within twenty days thereafter, or at any special meeting thereof
duly called, and that any member of said Congregation over the
age of twenty-one years shall be eligible to vote at any such

election; provided, however, that three of said Electors shall
be elected, respectively, as President, Vice-President and Treas-
urer. The length of service of each of said Electors shall be
for such period as shall, from time to time, be provided for in
the By-Laws of said Congregation. "

Approved April 13th, 1922.

AN ACT to authorize the creation of a State debt in the aggre-
gate amount of three million one hundred and fifty thousand
