Acts of 1918 of the General Assembly of Maryland, codified
as Section 4-B of Article 81 of the Code of General Laws and
extended by Chapter 390 of the Acts of 1920 of the General
Assembly of Maryland, which provides that no real estate or
any estate therein, heretofore or hereafter acquired and held
for future use, and not for investment by any hospital or
asylum nor organized or conducted for profit, shall be subject
to State, County or Municipal taxation, be and the same is
hereby extended for a period of two years dated from January
1, 1922.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1, 1922.

CHAPTER 194.
AN ACT to pay to the Treasurer of the County Board of
Education of Calvert County a sum of money from the
proceeds of the State School Tax for the construction
of a high school building at Solomons, in said County.
Whereas, Calvert County has received less money than any
other County of the State for educational work in secondary
grades.
Whereas, the taxable wealth of Calvert County is such
that a levy of twenty-eight cents on each One Hundred Dol-
lars would be required to raise the sum of One Thousand
Dollars necessary to construct a modest High School Building.
Whereas, by the Act of the General Assembly of 1916 a
bill was passed and approved, providing for the sum of Ten
Thousand Dollars to be paid to the County Board of Educa-
tion of Calvert County for the purpose of erecting a High
School in said County.
And Whereas, the said sum was never used as provided
by said Act but reverted to the State Treasury; Therefore:
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to draw his warrant on the
Treasurer of the State in Favor of the Treasurer of the Coun-
