Steam Packet Company shall hereafter and until forfeiture
have the right of perpetual succession.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That each and every the corporate existence, rights,
privileges and franchises of the Baltimore Steam Packet Com-
pany as severally and respectively created, granted and ex-
tended by said Act of Assembly, entitled "An Act to Incor-
porate the Baltimore Steam Packet Company, " passed at the
December session, eighteen hundred and thirty-nine, Chap-
ter three hundred and twenty-eight, and by said Act passed
at the January session eighteen hundred and fifty-six, Chap-
ter fifteen and by said Act passed at the January session
eighteen hundred and eighty-two, Chapter thirty-nine, be and
the same are hereby extended and continued in full force and
effect, without limitation as to time, to the end that said
the Baltimore Steam Packet Company shall have, until for-
feiture, the right of perpetual succession and the continued
enjoyment of all its existing corporate rights, privileges and
franchises.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That said the Baltimore Steam
Packet Company shall have and be entitled to exercise all of
the general powers which are now or may hereafter be con-
ferred by law upon corporations organized under the general
laws of this State, as fully and as if said the Baltimore Steam
Packet Company were incorporated under and subject to the
provisions of such general laws.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 180.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 93
and Section 95 of Article 23 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, title "Corporations, " sub-title "Foreign Corpora-
tions. "

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 93 and Section 95 of Article 23 of the An-
notated Code of Maryland, title "Corporations, " sub-title
"Foreign Corporations, " be and the same are hereby repealed
and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
