quired for said purpose in any one year as they deem best; the
whole to be levied in not more than five years, and may borrow
such amount or amounts of money as may be necessary for the
purpose aforesaid, and to secure the payment of same by giv-
ing a note or notes of the County Commissioners to be signed
by the President of said County Commissioners and counter-
signed by the Treasurer of Wicomico County, and bear interest
from date of same, said notes to be paid out of the levy or
levies aforesaid.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That the County Com-
missioners of Wicomico County be and they are hereby author-
ized and empowered to remove the present bridge over the
north prong of the Wicomico River and to erect it at a point
called the Wetipquin Ferry or at some other point, if they
deem it advisable. The said Commissioners are hereby author-
ized and empowered to levy a sum sufficient to remove the
said bridge and to erect it as herein provided, or to make such
other disposition of said bridge as they may deem advisable.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1922.

CHAPTER 29.
AN ACT to organize in departments the Executive and Ad-
ministrative functions of the State Government of Mary-
land, in order to promote co-ordination and increased econ-
omy in the conduct of the Government; creating, establish-
ing or continuing certain departments, boards, commissions,
institutions and officials, and prescribing their organization,
rights, powers, duties, obligations and functions; abolishing
certain offices, boards, commissions, departments and govern-
mental agencies, and/or transferring their powers and duties,
in whole or in part, to or among others; and repealing in-
consistent Acts and parts of Acts.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That upon the taking effect of this Act the Execu-
tive and Administrative Departments, boards, commissions, in-
stitutions and officers of the State Government of Maryland
mentioned in this Act shall be organized, established, con-
