shall constitute a special tax area or district and shall be
deemed and taken to comprise all parcels of land embraced
in the following described portions of the village of Alta
Vista: —Beginning for same at the intersection of the north
side of Cedar Avenue with the western edge of Cypress Avenue
as laid down on a plat of Alta Vista of record in Plat Book No.
2, Plat 107, one of the land records of Montgomery County, and
running thence with the west side of Cypress Avenue N 3°38
W 418 feet to point of a curve to the left, having a! radius of
of 309. 3 feet for a distance of 576 feet more or less, to a point
on the south side of Acacia Avenue as laid down on said plat,
then with the south side of said Avenue S 66°22 W 490 feet
more or less to the intersection of the west side of Linden Ave-
nue extended thence with the west side of said Avenue and
crossing over Maple Avenue N 20°47 W to the point on Linden
Avenue which is the southeastern corner of the property now
known as the George Norris property in lot 26 as laid down on
a plat of Alto Vista, of record in Plat Book No. 2, Plat 107, of
the Land Records of Montgomery County, thence along the
southern boundary of said Norris property, thence along the
southern boundary of the property now known as the Raymond
Atwood property, thence along the southern boundary of the
property now known as the Jacobson property to the intersec-
tion of the southern boundary of the Jacobson property with
the dividing line between lots 22 and 26 as shown on said Plat
of Alto Vista, thence to the eastern extremity the divid-
ing line between lots 26 and 27 as shown on said
plat of Alto Vista, thence with said division line
and the division line of lots 21 and 27 S 6°06 W 799
feet to a point on the north side of Spruce Avenue,
then crossing said Avenue in a southeasterly direction
to the point of intersection of the south line of said
Avenue with the division line between lots 28 and
29 as laid down on said plat, then with said division
line S 10°47 E 343 feet to a point in Charles Street
5 feet north of the south side of said street, then S
39°47 E 150 feet to the north limits of the south half of Blocks
No. 1 and No. 2 as laid down on Millers Subdivision of a portion
of Alta Vista of record in Plat Book No. 2, Plat No. 102, one
of the land records of said County and State, thence on said
line S 50° 13 W 752. 85 feet to the east limit line of the Washing-
ton and Rockville Electric Railway, thence with said limit line
and crossing Maple Avenue S 22°47 E 366. 76 feet to a point
