mediate preservation of the public health, and being passed
upon a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of all mem-
bers elected to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly,
the same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 129.

AN ACT to incorporate the Trustees of Mills' Chapel Methodist
Episcopal Church and Mills' Cemetery, in Hebron Election
District, Wicomico County, Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That George W. Hearn, Charles C. Jones, William R.
Stephens, Daniel E. Smith, Jackson, L. Reddish and Hermus
Cordrey, and their successors shall be, and are hereby created
a body politic and corporate, by the name of the Trustees of
Mills' Chapel Methodist Episcopal Church and Mills' Ceme-
tery, in Hebron Election District, Wicomico County, Mary-
land, and by the same name shall have perpetual succession,
to have and to hold, enjoy and be seized and possessed of
real, personal and mixed estate, to sue and be sued, implead
and be impleaded in any court of law and equity, and may
have and use a common seal.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the successors of
said trustees, shall be elected and all vacancies filled in con-
formity with the Discipline of the Methodist Episcopal Church,
in the United States of America.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That all lands and
tenements with the appurtenances now vested in the said
trustees, or which may be hereafter vested in them, and all
personal property now held by them shall from and after the
passage of said Act be vested in the said body corporate hereby
created, and their successors forever, in trust, that the said
land, and tenements, and personal property, shall be used, kept,
maintained and disposed of for the use of the ministry and
membership of the said Methodist Episcopal Church. They
shall support the doctrines, and ministerial appointments of
said church, and shall be subject to the laws, usages, doctrines,
and ministerial appointments of said church, from time to
