SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, that Section 105-K of Article 10, of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title, "Dorchester County", sub-
title, "County Commissioners, Treasurer and Collector", as
enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, at the Ses-
sion of 1918, Chapter 314, be and the same is hereby repealed
and re-enacted with amendments, so as to read as follows: —
Section 105-K. The County Commissioners for Dorchester
County shall, at the end of each fiscal year, or oftener if it
be deemed necessary, have an audit made of the accounts
of the Treasurer and Collector for Dorchester County. Said
audit shall show how much was appropriated under each item
of the budget and also how much was expended under each
item of said budget, and it shall show especially if any item
of said budget has been exceeded and how much. A copy of the
said audit shall be delivered by the Auditor to the Clerk of The
Circuit Court for Dorchester County, and the Judge of The
Circuit Court who delivers the charge to The Grand Jury, at the
November Session thereof, in each year, shall call the attention
of The Grand Jury to the said report and shall state to The
Grand Jury any item of said budget that may be overdrawn
and how much said item has been overdrawn. The Court shall
also call the attention of The Grand Jury to the penalty for
expending money on any item of said budget in excess of the
amount levied for and stated in said budget. An itemized
statement of all receipts and expenditures of The County Com-
missioners for Dorchester County shall be published at least
once every year, in at least one newspaper published in Dor-
chester County.

CHAPTER 101.
AN ACT to amend Article 10, of The Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Dorchester County", sub-
title, "County Commissioners, County Treasurer and Col-
lector", as enacted by Chapter 834, of The Acts of 1914,
of The General Assembly of Maryland, by adding an
additional section to be known as Section 113-A. and to
follow immediately after Section 113.
