1520 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 534

CHAPTER 534.

AN ACT to repeal Section 281 of Article 93 of the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland, title "Testamentary
Law," sub-title "Orphans'. Court," in so far as said section
applies to Caroline County, and to add a new section to
Article 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Caroline County," sub-title ""Orphans' Court," to fol-
low Section 49 and to be known as Section 49A.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 231 of Article 93 of the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland, title "Testamentary Law," sub-
title "Orphans' Court," be and the same is hereby repealed in
so far as it applies to Caroline County.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That a new section be
added to Article 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land title "Caroline County," sub-title "Orphans' Court," to
follow Section 49 and to be known as Section 49A and to read
as follows:

Section 49A. The judges of the Orphans' Court of Caro-
line County shall each receive the sum of six dollars for each
day's attendance upon the sessions of said court and five cents
mileage for each mile traveled one way, to be paid at least as
often as at the end of each and every quarter after the qualifi-
cation of said judges, by the County Commissioners.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the 1st day of June, 1922.

CHAPTER 535.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact Article 56, Sects. 137, 140, 141,
143, 145, 147, 148, 149, 150, 151, 152, 153, 154, 155, 156,
157, 157A, 158, 159 and 163, as repealed and re-enacted by
Chapters 506 and 407 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland (1920), entitled "Licenses," sub-title "Motor
Vehicles."
