Section 40. That it shall be unlawful for any person to
kill more than Twelve (12) Partridges (quail) in any one
day, or more than Two (2) Ruffed Grouse in any one day,
or more than Three (3) English Pheasant in any one day, or
more than Fifty (50) Rail in any one day, or more than Fifty
(50) Reed birds in any one day, or more than Twenty-five
(25) Doves in any one day, or more than Six (6) Yoodcock
in any one day, or more than ten (10) rabbits in any one day,
or more than twenty-five (25) squirrels in any one day, or more
than Twenty-five (25) Jacksnipe in any one day, or more
than Twenty-five (25) Wild Water-fowl (ducks, geese, swan
and brant) in any one day for each man on or connected with
the outfit not exceeding four men in number, each of whom
shall have a gunnels license, or more than Fifteen (15) Yel-
low-legs in any one day, or more than Five (5*) Black Breasted
Plover in any one day, or more than Twenty-five (25) Coots
(crow-bills) and Gallinules in all in any one day, or more than
Four (4) Wild Turkeys in any one season, or more than one
Deer per season. It shall be unlawful to kill the female deer
at any time during the time when it shall be lawful to shoot
or kill such birds and animals as herein defined.
Any person found guilty of violating any .part of this Act
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction
thereof before any Justice of the Peace of this State, shall be
fined Ten Dollars ($10) for each and every Game Bird or
Game Animal killed in excess of the bag limit as herein pro-
vided, and each Game Bird or Game Animal so found in pos-
session in excess of the bag limit shall constitute a separate
offense, and shall stand committed to the County jail or the
Baltimore City jail until such fine and costs shall have been
paid, but such imprisonment shall not exceed sixty days for
each offense.
SEC. 2. And be it fwrfhor enacted, That all laws or parts
of laws, both Local and General, inconsistent with the provi-
sions of this Act, whether passed at this session of the Legisla-
ture or at former sessions, are hereby repealed. This Act shall
take effect from June 1, 1922.

AN ACT to authorize the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore
to pay a pension to Richard Martin.
