used in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court for St.
Mary's County, of the amounts received from levy, sale of
bonds or from any source whatsoever by the County Commis-
sioners and showing to whom and for what purpose the amounts
raised by said levy, sale of bonds or receipts from other sources
were disbursed. He shall present to the board of the County
Commissioners at each and every meeting a balance sheet show-
ing balance of cash on hand in each and every account kept by
him and also the sum total of and the totals of the amounts of
each class of County Certificates issued by him for all purposes
whatsoever.

32. Such person being elected as aforesaid shall give bond
to the State of Maryland in the penalty of five thousand
($5,000) dollars, with security to be approved by the County
Commissioners, for the true and faithful performance of his
duties, which bond shall be liable for any default by him or
misappropriation of any of the county's or State's money or
funds entrusted to him, and shall be recorded in the office of
the clerk of the Circuit Court for said county; and the County
Commissioners of said county may enter action or actions on
said bond for any such default or misappropriation of funds
belonging to said county, and said bond may be also liable to
the State of Maryland for any misappropriation of State funds
or default in the payment thereof.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1922.

CHAPTER 514.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the Mayor and City Coun-
cil of Cumberland to convey to Trustees for the use of Fort
Cumberland Post 'No. 13, of the American Legion, a lot of
ground situated in the City of Cumberland, Maryland, and
to further provide for the perpetuation of said Trustees.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Mayor and City Council of Cumberland are
hereby authorized and empowered to convey to the Trustees
mentioned in Section 2 of this Act that part of the old water
works lot (part of City Lot No. 3 in Cumberland, Maryland)
