of each series as it falls due, and make such payments under
order of the County Commissioners of said county.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the fund to be realized
from the sale of said bonds shall be paid to the joint order of
the president of the County Commissioners of Anne Arundel
County and the treasurer of said county, and shall be deposited
in the name and to the credit of the County Commissioners of
Anne Arundel County in a separate account, with a designa-
tion showing said deposit to be from the sale of said bonds,
and shall be kept separate and distinct from any and all other
funds of the county: said deposit to be made in equal proportions
in the Farmers jSTational Bank, Annapolis Banking and Trust
Company and The State Capital Bank of the Eastern Shore
Trust Company, and shall be paid out and applied by the said
County Commissioners by checks in equal amounts drawn
upon the said funds in each of said banking institutions, so as
to leave on deposit in each, from time to time, an equal amount
as near as may be: and no money shall be withdrawn from

the deposit of funds herein provided for except upon the or-
der of said County Commissioners, by checks signed by the
president of said County Commissioners and by the county
treasurer, and countersigned by the clerk to said board, and
the same shall be applied to the following purposes, namely:
First, to the redemption of all county certificate or other evi-
dences of indebtedness now outstanding; second, to the pay-
ment of the current expenses of the county as the same may
accrue or shall have accrued, except for roads and bridges;
third, to the payment for the improvement of the Land Record
Room and other improvements to the Court House as deemed
proper by the County Commissioners, provided the improve-
ments recommended by the County Commissioners do not
exceed forty thousand ($40,000) dollars.

No moneys realized from the sale of said bonds shall be paid
for road work in any district or districts of said county, the
same being a charge against the respective districts, or for any
charge in said district or districts for which said district or dis-
tricts are alone responsible; and whatever moneys are paid out
upon the outstanding certificates for road work, the same shall
be charged as against the district for which the said money is so
paid it being the intent of this Act that under the provisions
of law, as now existing, that each district shall pay the amount
expended or to be expended for the road work therein; and in
making levies for the payment of said bonds where levies have
