SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That in the event said
bonds are issued the Mayor and Town Council of Lonaconing
shall levy out of the general funds of said town the sum of
one thousand dollars, and such further amount as may be
necessary to pay the interest upon the bonds hereby author-
ized, then outstanding from year to year during each year that
any of the said bonds remain outstanding, and shall collect
said money so levied and pay for and redeem one thousand
dollars of said bonds each year, beginning with the year 1924,
together with the interest upon the remaining outstanding
bonds. Said sum of one thousand dollars and the amount
necessary for interest as aforesaid, so levied, shall be included
in the general lew of the said Mayor and Town Council of

Lonaconing, and shall be exclusive of and in addition to the
amounts which said Mayor and Town Council of Lonaconing
are now authorized to levy.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted. That the money levied

and collected as provided for in the preceding section of this
Act shall be paid to the Mayor and to two other persons to be
selected by the Council of the town of Lonaconing as Trustees
of the Sinking Fund for the General Improvement Bonds, and
said trustees shall use said money for the sole purpose of re-
deeming one thousand dollars a year of this bond issue as here-
inbefore provided and the payment of the interest due each
year on the bonds of this issue still outstanding.

SEC. 4A. And be it further enacted, That before this Act
shall become operative, the Mayor and Town Council of Lona-
coning shall submit the question of issuing the aforesaid bonds
to the qualified voters of said town, at either the next succeed-
ing general municipal election, or at a special election to be
held in said town and time to be designated by the said Mayor
and Town Council, and of which due notice shall be given by
the Mayor and Town Council by advertisement in both daily
newspapers published in Allegany County, and by handbills
distributed throughout said town. Said advertisement of said
election shall be given at least twenty days before the date set
for said election; at said election the ballots cast by the voters
shall have printed thereon "For Improvement Bonds" and
"Against Improvement Bonds, " with a square after the words
in each case for the capital "X" mark of the voter; and if the
majority of the votes cast on said question shall be for said im-
provement bonds, then the Mayor and Town Council of Lona-
coning may proceed to execute the powers vested in it by the
