SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the total issue and sales of $145, 000. 00 of bonds by
the County Commissioners of Allegany County, as authorized
by the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, of 1920, of
Chapter 13, be and the same are hereby ratified, confirmed
and approved, and the said bonds together with the interest
coupons thereon be and the same are valid obligations of the
County Commissioners of Allegany County, and that any in-
formalities in the issue thereof be hereby waived.
SEC. 2. Be it further ordained, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 62.
AN ACT to add a new Section to Section 24, Article No. 1
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title,
"Allegany County", sub-title, "Circuit Court", and pro-
viding for speedy judgment in non-contested cases.
SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland
that a new Section be and it is hereby added to Section 24,
Article No. 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title, "Allegany County", sub-title, "Circuit Court", and pro-
viding for speedy judgment in non-contested cases, and to
read as follows:
SEC. 24 E1. When any defendant shall be returned non est
the Clerk of the Court shall upon the written request of the
plaintiff, or his attorney, renew the summons for such defendant,
and make the same returnable on the next return day or the
first day of the term, whichever shall first occur, next suc-
ceeding.
