SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 136 of Article 13 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Kent County," sub-title "Ga-
lena," as said section was amended by Chapter 413 of the Acts
of 1920, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments, to read as follows:

136. The County Commissioners of Kent County shall
annually, on or before the first day of January, 1923, and
every year thereafter, pay over to the Commissioners of Galena
the sum of three hundred dollars ($300), so that the Com-
missioners of Galena may receive and disburse the said amount
for the purpose of keeping in • repair the public roads and
bridges of said town of Galena.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1922.

CHAPTER 461.

AN ACT to amend Chapter 656 of the Acts of 1904 of the
General Assembly of Maryland, entitled "An Act to repeal
Chapter 619 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land passed at the January Session, 1900, and to repeal
Chapter 334 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land passed at the January Session, 1902, entitled 'An Act
providing for the election of a County Treasurer for Talbot
County/ and denning the duties and powers of said Treas-
urer by adding to said Chapter 656 a new section to be called
Section 16A," and to follow immediately after Section 16

of said Chapter.
